Sekretza is pleased to introduce you to the wonderful world of “Christian Martinon” a French sculptor whose captivating work is an exciting addition to our eclectic mix of unique art and décor available from our prestigious shop set in the heart of Marbella on the Costa del Sol.

Christian Martinon started his artistic career in the Nice’s hinterland where he discovered the life of a ceramic workshop. During the following years Christian studied and researched the chemistry, formation and transformation of the materials he was using and with this knowledge he developed skills and techniques to create his own imaginative and exciting style. In 1992 Christian studied the art of Raku (a type of Japanese pottery where articles are typically hand thrown, fired at low temperatures and removed from the kiln while glowing hot.) which added another dimension to his already amazing work.

As an established sculptor, Christian has won many prizes for his spectacular creations, been invited as an honoured guest in countries as far reached as Japan and has pieces in public and private collections across Europe.

Combining his love of the Earth with his love for sculpture, Christian Martinon work is bold, intriguing and spirited making his pieces very desirable and highly collectable. Christian takes the concept of sculptures to the extreme in order to create unique pieces for your home as well as for gift-giving and Sekretza are delighted to be able give you the opportunity for owning your very own remarkable Christian Martinon sculpture which are now find on display in our stylish Marbella/ Puerto Banus store.
